Family Pictures

I also took pictures of Travis' sister's family and in-laws last weekend. We went up to Snowbasin and it was cold! We had to keep putting the kids in the car to get through the photo shoot. I think that we got some good ones for having a couple kids that weren't too happy. Here's a few to peak at while you wait.

Emily I didn't get a chance to finish, but I should be able to finish them up today for sure.

Happy Birthday Emily!!! We love you!

Eight Days Old

Here's a sneak peak of your pictures. How cute is this kid? I was loving taking his pictures, but I was in heaven when he fell asleep. Hope you like them.

Emily yours should be done today.

Changing Leaves and Cute Kids

Warning... There are a lot of pictures on this post. My kids are just too cute! We went for a Sunday drive up the canyon to play and check out the leaves. It was more for me then for my kids. I wanted to go shoot with my new lens and get some pictures of the kids. Definitely more for me then the kids, but they had a blast. Braiden wasn't happy about going to take pictures and did not want to change his clothes. He wanted to take pictures next time. I won and I have the pictures to prove it.

I told Braiden before we left that if he was just good for me and smiled that we would be done fast and then he could play. Shortly after started walking up the trail I asked him to look at me and smile and he said ok, planted himself in the dirt (new pants by the way) and tried his hardest to get it over with. I still didn't stop bugging him the whole time we were there. Here is that picture...

Usually Brooklynn smiles for the camera, but she was loving the leaves. She couldn't get enough. I always have a really hard time capturing the real Braiden smile, he moves around way too much. (That is an understatement!) Even though the leaves were so exciting, I think I got some good ones.

Harrison

Here is the latest addition to the family. Harrison was born Friday night. His mom and dad think he is big, weighing in at 7lbs 4oz. He is not big at all and smaller then I expected him to be. Their first was born 6 weeks early at only 5lbs 3oz so I guess it depends on how you look at it.

New Toy

I finally got my Mother's Day present and also my anniversary present. (That one wasn't too late though.) Brooklynn's hair isn't even fixed and she even had some food on her face, but I had to play around with my new lense. It's going to be fun I can't wait to do some real pictures with it.

The phone is one of her favorite things.

I saved the best for last.
Look at that belly! Can you believe she still doesn't weigh 20lbs?
One day we might actually be able to turn her around in the car. We are so close now.

BBoat...Wahwer...Jacket??

This is what we spent most of our time doing this summer. Both of the kids love having a boat and I think Travis has decided that it's a lot of fun too. I'm not sure how we are going to get Brooklynn to understand that our water skiing days are over for awhile. Just today in the truck (actually yesterday too) she started talking about the boat. I'm assuming she's asking to go on the boat. She just randomly starts saying "boat, wahwer, boat wahwer?" I just kept telling her "not today" and she finally gave up. We also have to keep her jacket hidden if it's in the house or she will put it on and freak out when you try and take it off. She is definitely a fish.

Braiden's favorite way to enter the water at the Gorge...

yes, that's a belly flop. It was very funny and must not have hurt because he kept doing it.

Here are some pictures of the kids worn out. My favorite is of Braiden. He really fell asleep on the bumper and I think he was standing up.

Here is Brooklynn's first ride on the tube. I think she enjoyed even though it doesn't look like it.

Travis' first time wake boarding.

I think this was the biggest highlight for me and I think Travis would say the same. At the first of the summer we asked Braiden if he wanted to water ski and he said he would when he was older. I'm not sure what changed his mind, but he decided that wanted to try. We bought a pair of trainers, had him watch the DVD that came with with them and he was up on his first try. I really didn't think he would do it, but he did. He skied four times at Flaming Gorge and when we went up to Pineview over Labor day we didn't even have to bribe him to go. These pictures are from Pineview. Kayti came up with us the day after Labor day and Braiden decided he wanted me to drive, Travis to hold the rope and Kayti to help him in the water. They spent almost 10 mins in the water trying to get on his skis. They were both laughing so hard it made the process take even longer.

And here he is my little water skiing stud....

We really did a few other things and now that life has settled down a little bit I might share some pictures with you soon.
