I'm finally posting our Halloween pictures. We haven't been together with my family for a few years on Halloween, so this year was a lot of fun. We weren't planning on getting together until my mom called me on Monday and said that my brothers mission call was going to come on on Wednesday. Everyone but Kyle knew the call was coming. My dad took the call out of the mailbox while Kyle and my mom were out to lunch and when he got home he really thought his call hadn't come. Here are some pictures from our day.

I had to add this one in. Hunter didn't really want to take pictures. I had to keep telling him to show me his mean dinosaur face and then his happy dinosaur face. Obviously this is his mean face...

Here are the kids after trick or treating at the very first house. They were so excited and had to check out every one's piece of candy. We didn't get Brooklynn out of the stroller in time for the first house, but she is in the next picture. It didn't take more than a house or two for her to figure out what was going on and she thought it was pretty cool.

After taking the kids out for about an hour, we went back to the house and sang Happy Birthday to my mom. After her cake, we pulled one out for Kyle. He had no idea what was going on.

The first of the next three is Kyle wondering why he has a cake in his lap that says "Surprise Kyle". The middle picture is after my dad gave him his big white envelope. It took a few minutes for it to really sink in. The last one is him reading where he will be for the next few years. He will be serving in the England, London South Mission. He is very excited and bummed that he doesn't arrive at the MTC in England until February 29th.

The Call...

This picture of all the grand kids was actually taken this past Sunday. We all got together for Kyle's ordination and Harrison's blessing. The kids had already had their picture taken without their costumes (coming s00n) and didn't want to take anymore. Sadly this is the best one I got.
