I know I already posted this cute girl, but I finished her pictures last week and thought I would post a few more of my favorites.
She was not too sure about her cake at first. Whenever we told her to put it in her mouth, she did just like this...
She decided she did like the cake, but she had more fun feeling it with her fingers than she did eating it. She had the whole cake in pieces by the time she was done with it and she didn't end up eating that much.
I love this picture. I love the way she is sitting. I think I like it even more with the texture. Let me know if you want this one? It isn't on the CD I gave you.

Emilee
I just got back today from a weekend away with Travis (pictures coming soon). I decided to leave my computer home since I spend way too much time on it some days!! It was a good break away from the kids and the computer.
I wanted to get to these before I left, but I didn't make it. I gave them a jump start tonight and thought I better get a preview posted. Emilee gave us some great smiles at the very beginning, but then I think she decided it wasn't all that fun. Grandma came about 10 mins after we started and she wanted her instead. It was kind of cute, she and Brooklynn were fighting over my mom, both very jealous when the other was being held.

I'm glad I got this one! She only lasted in this little tutu for about 15 pictures, maybe 2-4 minutes. She had the wings on, but those didn't last for more than a minute.

Hunter
Here the big brother of little Harrison. He was much easier to get to smile, but he didn't want to stick around long. He thought playing with his cousin would be much more fun. Crazy huh?

Harrison
Here is one of my nephews from the other day. We had a really hard time trying to get him to smile for the camera! We did get some cute ones though. Hopefully these will work for you Kris. Let me know what you think.

More Pictures to come...
I did three mini photo shoots yesterday. I took pictures of two of my nephews and one of my nieces. Hopefully there will be pictures to share by the end of the week.
Here are a couple of my kids. I was just using Braiden to test my lighting and thought this turned out kinda cute.
Brooklynn was getting jealous of all the pictures I was taking of everyone else so she had to have her turn. This is her dog that she has been somewhat attached to since she was about 9 months old. (Mostly at bedtime so we don't have to take him everywhere with us, although he does make it out of the house every once in awhile.)
Like mother like daughter. I was attached to a couple different bunnies. I used to rub their ears on my nose, just like Brooklynn is doing in this picture. I love it that she's just like me. Hopefully she doesn't pick up the bad qualities, only the good.

A New Hat
I bought Brooklynn this hat the other day. She pulled it out of the bag this morning and insisted on wearing it. She wore it almost all day. It's a little big, but not too bad. I took these pictures during lunch and trust me you would've known if I wouldn't have touched up her face and taken all the peanut butter off.

Happy Birthday Dad & Emilee!!!

Spring Soccer
We wanted to sign Braiden up for soccer in the fall, but missed registration. We made sure we didn't miss it this time. His first game was yesterday. He had a lot of fun, but was a little overwhelmed I think. He was a little hesitant, but he did end up kicking the ball a few times.
I'm not sure if it's this way everywhere, but they have games on Tuesdays and Saturdays and then practices on Thursdays. That's 3 times a week. His last game is in a April 29. I'm not sure what the rush it, but it's going to make one crazy month. Here are few pictures...

One last one of little sister showing her support. I noticed once during the game that she was clapping, but I think it was because of the people clapping at the game behind us. She actually stayed put in the chair the whole game. Let's hope she does that every week!
If you are interested in coming to any of his games (family), they are Tuesdays at 5pm and Saturdays at 8am. Let me know!!!

One Expensive Easter Weekend
We had a great Easter weekend and are glad we were able to spend it with our Family. Here are the kids in their Easter outfits...

Ok, so I'm sure you want to know why our weekend was a little pricey. Well it all started on Saturday. (Sorry no pictures for this one.)
Expense #1 - I will not go into great details. It was a nice Saturday afternoon and Travis wanted to go for a bike ride. He went in to put his wedding ring in the bathroom cupboard and that's not where it ended up. Braiden was taking care of some business when it happened and asked if he could finish before we went fishing. We told him not to flush, but while I went to help Travis find the fishing gear, we heard the flush. Ahhh!!! Braiden felt terrible and he didn't mean to so we of course couldn't get mad. I don't think I will ever forget the look on his face as we walked back into the bathroom. For the next 20 mins I kept asking him how and why he did it and he finally said, "Mom if you stop talking about it you will forget about it."
Ok, on to our weekend. Easter morning, the kids got up and found their baskets and then we got ready and headed up to Ogden. My dad and my brother were speaking in Church. Braiden read a talk he gave in Primary to my dad about the Savior and my dad asked him if we wanted to come talk with him. He said yes and so Braiden gave his first talk in Sacrament meeting at age 5. He did a great job and he really didn't get that nervous. Here is a picture of him reading his talk to the family members that couldn't make it to Sacrament meeting.
After church we went to my sister's house and had our annual Easter egg hunt. Brooklynn loved it. She got a good amount of eggs for how many times she stopped. I think stopped at least three different times to empty this egg. She likes Cookie Crisp!
This is probably the only time Braiden stopped while he was finding eggs and it was to show me that he found an egg with money.
After the Easter egg hunt, the kids went back to playing and I took some pictures for my sister.
Expense #2 - My brother-in-law came out and told me that he didn't think my son had a palm anymore. At first I thought he was joking around and then my brain processed what he said. I went in to Braiden screaming in the kitchen and my mom and sister trying to get him to calm down. It was pretty intense!
The kids had turned on the treadmill downstairs and I guess Braiden thought he could run 10 mph, but I guess he's not as fast as he thought. It's an older treadmill with a slider for the speed and he just slid it all the way over. I'm sure he had no idea what he was really getting himself into.
Because we couldn't get him to calm down, we decided to take him to an Instacare. He ended up with a raw spot on his hand and a few more scrapes, but he is just fine. I don't want to see the final bill for this one.
Even though this kid cost us a little more than we would have liked this weekend, I wouldn't trade him for anything and I'm glad he is ok. We were really lucky because things could have ended up a lot worse.
Here are some pictures from tonight while we were changing his bandages. It has already closed up a lot and is healing nicely. It's a little gross so beware and don't say I didn't warn you.

All wrapped up and ready for bed...
I think this is one weekend we will never forget! I hope yours was memorable in a much different way.
